Our bespoke builds offer design and concept creation, superior glass builds, and system installation. Our background in design and construction makes us the perfect team to develop your dream aquarium system.
We have experience in other aquatic systems such as ponds, coral restoration and research systems along with other bespoke tanks such as the Natural History Museum Marlin Tank. Bring us your challenge and we will work with you to make it a reality.
Not quite sure what you would like and were you would like it. We can offer a full onsite consultation to make sure the aquarium will exceed your greatest expectations aesthetically.
Not sure on which lights and how many? As part of the design service, we will always ensure that the aquarium will function exactly as it should, using any architectural design drawings or sketches provided of your dream aquarium.
Once the order has been processed, we then set about creating you your own bespoke set of production drawings using CAD. This enables us to work to the exact millimetre when designing the aquarium. We will be able to provide an accurate quotation and approximate lead time of your build. This can include any changes to the design to best suit your budget.
We will offer our expertise to ensure that you have the correct equipment from the start.
Once you confirm the drawings, we can provide 3D modelling of your system to get a final idea of the expected outcome, at an additional cost. Once final amendments and approvals are made, procurement will commence.
All construction is handled by our talented in-house team, who bring a wealth of experience and expertise to every project. From start to finish, our team takes full responsibility for the build, ensuring the highest quality standards are met. We manage and guide every aspect of the construction process, from glass cutting and tank assembly to custom system integration. Our hands-on approach allows us to maintain complete control over the build, ensuring precise execution and a flawless result that aligns with your vision.
Whether it’s a custom aquarium, a pond system, or a coral restoration tank, our in-house team is committed to delivering a seamless and exceptional build.
We will be happy to provide photos of the construction and final product before delivery to allow you to see your dream materialise. You are welcome to book a viewing time at a pre-arranged time to see the aquarium build prior to the delivery of the project.
Collection or delivery will be arranged to suit all involved and best suit the needs of the customer, this can be tailored to the specific requirements of the location and type of build.
We offer a build on site service which can cater for domestic homes all the way through to the largest commercial clients. We have the unsurpassed expertise to cater for the largest glass panels weighing over 700KG!
We make use of an extruded aluminium profile for the aquarium stand. This offers the greatest level of flexibility, strength and functionality. Floor uneven? Make use of the self-levelling feet. To big to fit through a doorway? These stands can be constructed on site. Whatever circumstance arises there is no superior stand.
To showcase your aquarium inhabitants in all their true splendour we offer Low-Iron glass for our builds. The reduced iron content in low iron glass removes the green tinge that is seen in regular float glass, giving a clearer crisp view of the aquarium inhabitants. The thickness of glass is largely driven by the height x length of the largest panel within the aquarium construction. Typical glass sizes range from 6mm to 19mm, however, when necessary, we will adopt the use of laminated glass that enables us to build aquariums to much larger sizes, laminated glass requires specific sealants and glass processing procedures to ensure it is used safely and to prevent it from deteriorating over time.
We can offer many types of laminate, from PVB, coloured or SGB structural interlay.
Should you require glass panels to be obscured, we can either vinyl wrap to a colour of your choice or paint the glass with our two-part paint finish, the benefit of painting the glass is that it allows us to bond items directly onto the painted surface, such as our external weir design.
Internal weir boxes serve their purpose, but can take up a lot of valuable coral real estate, the alternative is to choses our external weir box, these are built to suit the size of the aquarium and turnover of water through the system, utilising our two-part paint system, the weirs are bonded directly to the back of the aquarium panel, keeping them out of main view.
When it comes to style and quality, our CNC one-piece braces offer the protection of conventional brace bars, but give a very contemporary look, and negate the need to incorporate a timber pelmet, this modern twist, also allows for unobstructed views into the top of your aquarium.
Another option to consider is having 45-degree mitres on the viewing corners of the aquarium, this detail offers a unique view through the corner of the aquarium, whether viewing the corner from the front or side panel, the view is the same, giving symmetry to the overall design.
We are proud to constantly be pushing the design envelope of our reef aquariums. Water movement is one of the key ingredients to ensure healthy livestock. Our flow to go system keeps power heads out of sight and utilises the push and pull from the chosen powerhead, effectively doubling its capacity to circulate water, by incorporating a floating aquarium base, water is sucked in at the rear of the base and pushed out underneath the floating base, hence creating a gyre effect of laminate water flow, the aquascape is built upon the floating base, so water flow beneath is unobstructed and hidden away.
The design is particularly useful on peninsular tanks, where there is normally the need to have power heads on full show, with the flow 2 go water is delivered from the front of the aquarium, with water returning towards the coral structure, optimising the flow whilst keeping it out of sight.
